This is weird. You show a release date for 0x5CD as 5/17, yet I've had it on my 3 HR24-500s since 5/5. And no, I'm not on CE's.

All that aside.

Ox5CD was a big improvement over 0x59E when it first got on my boxes. The two I have sole control of received the update and operated flawlessly from that point. My son's HR24-500 got the update and lost all recordings and all todo items. He was not a happy camper!

Since then, this update has started to show it problems, and unfortunately that seems to be the case with all these SW updates. Start out good, then degrade. Nearly a sure sign of memory leaks imo.

Now my 3 HR24-500s do this:
1. Video/Audio glitches on nearly any channel at random times. Doesn't matter if it is live or a recorded event.
2. Remote response/ignoring - back again. If I use the remote in IR or RF doesn't matter, but if I control the same box with the iPad, it never ignores or is slow to respond.

Overall speed is slightly slower than when I got the update, but still perfectly acceptable.

. You probably meant 5CB update on 5/5 as that is the SW Version number I'm seeing, so I'm guessing this 5CD update is to fix YouTube issues?
