Pink Screen

Often when changing channels or bringing up guide, menu, etc., I will get a pink overlay to entire screen. Turning DVR off then on will fix it. Tried reset, no change.

havent seen that. Using HDMI? maybe a handshake issue? try unseating and reseating the cable or a red button reset.

Tried all that. No change. It started doing this immediately after the CE download Friday night. Guess I'll have to go back to NR.

Finally determined it would only give me the "pink screen" image when a channel change also changed the display resolution. Changed native resolution setting to "off" and now no more problems.

The Nightmare Continues

I wasn't showing any MLB Extra Innings channels in my guide so I went to Directv website and reauthorized my receiver. MLB channels still weren't showing so I did a red button reset. MLB channels now in guide. Wonderful!

However, I now have no playlist recordings, no series manager, no history, absolutely nothing. Still showing software version 0x5C5 from Friday night.

Any ideas anyone? If I go back to NR, is there any hope at all for my playlist?

You lost your Playlist ?

If so, Yes, I would go back to the NR and see if it comes back, then I would try Fridays CE (if there is one) and see what happens then.

Yep. Lost my playlist. Trying to download NR now. It says searching for 059F but not downloading. Very frustrating. I guess NR not available right now. Will try later.

59F IS available now, it's the NR, it HAS to be available.

Try again, make sure your doing the same as you would fora CE release or you'll not get the NR.

4th attempt no good either. Will not download. I'm using the CE method. 02468.

Finally got NR 059F to download. Still no playlist.
