H20 off air port quit

Hey all!
1st post and I need some help. I hooked up H20-600 for friend w/off air ant, in appropriate port in back, worked fine for 3 weeks but last night it quit. all i get is search/signal mesg. had to connect off air directly to tv. Is this box bad?

It could be. Did you check all of the connections? How about the signal strength? I don't have an H20 anymore, but IIRC, you can go into the menu and check it.

i checked and replaced all suspicious looking conns. the antenna works on tvs tuner just fine. DTV hasn't disabled that function to anyones knowledge have they

Don't think they have disabled it mine is working fine. Probably bad box.Since it is a h20-600 might have got too hot.

Kellyc60, sorry I am late with my response. I had the same problem just hit the reset switch and it should be good to go when it comes back up. There is some kind of problem with the H20 losing connection to the OTA. The reset fixed my problem both times it happened in the last two months.
