H20 and Tivo - Please help.

I have an H20 receiver and Im thinking of buying a tivo with a lifetime subscription off of ebay. Will I be able to hook it up to my H20 so I can record my satellite and local channels? Also, I know this is probably a reach but if so would it record in HD?

It will not record in HD, cause there is not any HD tivos that record in HD yet (stand alone) units that is

I would wait for the series 3 Tivo to come out. IIRC this one will record HD broadcasts.

actually, given that tivo killed lifetime subs, there will never be a HD capable tivo with a lifetime

That blows. You shouldnt have to pay a monthly fee for something like that. I wonder why nobody has figured out a way to "h-word" tivos yet?
