After the recent software update that installed the new program guide my DVR began having lots of problems. All recorded programs suffered from pixellation, freezing for differing amounts of time, audio drops. The problems started small but grew and now I can't get more than 15 minutes playback before the box completely hangs.
Just this morning (11/8/7) DTV confirmed that there is a problem and that they are trying to do something about it via additional software work. I was kind of suprised that there was not a flat denial that thier update was bunked.
I noticed some identical problems reported on the DTV owned message boards, but didn't notice any here. Anyone else getting this?
