Thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. As you can conclude from my logon ID, I'm a bit of a Corvette fanatic. My "toys" are a '68 big block 4 speed convertable and '73 small block automatic coupe.
I suppose you could consider me a bit of a "satelliteguy".
Started out with a 12ft. Darkstar and an Amplica receiver.
Moved and left the Darkstar as there was a 6ft. Luxor already in place.
Later upgraded the Amplica to 4HDTV receiver. (It's still packed away in the attic if anyone is interesed.)
Moved again and couldn't use a C-Band dish, so I signed up with DT*.
I remarried and moved (again !sadroll) and watched cable until we could no longer tolerate the poor picture, poor quality, poor service and high and constant rising cost!
Signed up with DN a bit over 4 years ago and have been fairly pleased with them.
I've done all my own installations (my wife says I know just enough to be dangerous), other than the DN install and I then ended up moving the dish, as I wasn't particularly pleased with the way it was mounted.
