Got Russian TV (D* intl package).

After much thinking, decided not to modify existing HD setup (DTC100+Mits+PhaseII+SatC). Instead, got a new dish, new
recvr (D11) and hooked it up to a separate video in on the Mits.

Installers came in and got the 95 bird in about 1 second. 20mins
later I was all wired and am enjoying movies I saw last about 30
years ago , news, sports etc.

The dish is not that big at all. I expected to see a much larger one.

How much did the setup cost, dish and receiver. Also, is there hockey on this package?

Just saw CSKA-Spartak hockey game , so yes, there are sports in there too.

Setup was free, but I tipped the installer very generously. Great guy.

The D* did charge for the D11 STB - $40-something. I tried, half-heartedly
to argue that down to 0, being a "most valued" customer etc. No luck. No
big deal. Dish was free, they also threw in a 4x4 and ran some cable.

Was funny when the guy just pointed the dish toward the southern sky and guaranteed
Galaxy 3c will be there at the first try. He then proceeded to hookup the BirdDog and
sure enough., there it was.
