Rather sell it here than on Ebay if possible......Retired working from our radio station. Owner needed upgrade. Asking $299 (based on features) Paypal "gift" method preferred, can invoice via paypal for credit card. 14.1" display. Can't get many of these features on the "netbooks" today of the same price range. Shipping will be actual charges, estimate around $20 given this weight for standard.

HP LAPTOP dv2415us
Intel Core 2 Duo

225 GB
Windows Vista Home Premium
CD-RW/DVD Combo

THE GOOD:
Excellent used laptop PC! Reason for selling: Upgrade after having to add some applications a Unit is 3 years old. This box has more options than anything you'll find today in the same price-range at any box store. If you want features in a used laptop, this IS the box you want

Comes with original "restore" disc, ordered directly from HP, not an imitation. This was ordered when our original hard drive was replaced. Hard drive replaced (with new/larger) in May of 2010, not even a year ago. Has bluetooth for easy transfer of files/pics from a phone, multi-card media reader, Webcam and stereo mics built-in. Stereo audio, not mono like the new smaller ones. Battery replaced about a year and a half ago, its the "larger" one, which does 2 things: 1) Larger run time and 2) raises the back for better cooling of the CPU.

Clean keyboard. Has had the "O" replaced twice with proper key and spring mechanism, working fine. (keys are readily available for this model.) Power supply replaced about 2 years ago. (only because HP designs their plugs AT the unit terribly and they bend and break wires.)

Display is in good shape, takes a very short time to get to full brightness as older units do, but runs FINE! (see pictures.) Also included is the original HP mobile remote control to control the "media" of this laptop from up to 10 feet away. Its an infrared unit, still in package.

Has: (3) USB; (1) wired network; (1) wireless; Separate Headphone and Mic jacks, (we used it on remote broadcasts) MODEM installed for backup during wireless outages; Quick-start media lighted menu above keyboard (in blue) Front HD activity light and wireless light. (1) S-video out, (1) external monitor out; (1) PCMCIA slot; re-loaded from DVD back to "factory original" with "any" as the user, and NO windows logon needed. You can, of course re-run the DVD and set it up any way you want. But, its ready to go when you get it! DVD included as pictured.

THE BAD:
"N", "D", "C" and most of the "E" and "M" keys white writing are worn off or nearly gone, but the keys are original, attached and functioning fine! CD-writer doesn't always write CD's or DVD's, but reads most. It's "tired" from doing the burning of "lightscribe" discs. These CAN be replaced with used parts. Unit weighs 7 pounds because of extended battery. Will be around 10 pounds shipped.

Pleae note, this IS AS-IS. We've put it back to factory original. It's had many hours on it at our radio station, but we keep our equipment in good shape, and well maintained. We'll entertain reasonable offers, too.

Please PM for all communications.
