With the latest C.E. for the HR20-700, it appears so far that it has fixed the audio dropouts and video pix that was happening for the last few weeks, last few CE's as well.

Happy HR20-700 owner for the last 9 months
I have had very few problems with my set up. :)
Getting better all the time !

We have never had any problem at all with our HR20 (except the caller ID has never worked). We don't like the machine very well as compared to a TiVo based unit, but the machine has worked just fine from the start.

I very rarely ever watch anything live on it, but the recordings are decent.
