With 24 hours of time zones around the globe, it occurs to me that some of the international channels might have some coverage worth watching, so I thought I'd start a thread for it. I'm not talking about feeds, just standard broadcast channels. It doesn't matter what language, I'm interested in spectacles like fireworks and parades. Does anyone remember any good shows from last year? If not, we can post this year's discoveries here.

I think Russia Today on 97W might be a good try. I'd check several of the channels on 97W.

I USED to enjoy watching the BBC World channel on G-13, back when it was FTA. THey used to open each hour with views of the celebrations in whatever big city was in the time zone going into the new year at the time. Unfortunately, that G-13 feed has been scrambled for quite a while now.
I'm not sure if there are any other BBC feeds out there or not. I know that the 12169 transponder on AMC-21 has a lot of BBC 1/2 hour news shows, at least during the day, but I don't know if that continues into prime time or not, and don't know if it has the same programming that the one on G13 or not. I know that it was different from the BBC NA stuff that used to be on another sat.
Anyway, I kind of miss that BBC channel.
