In Lyngsat look at the BEAM of the satellite and it should give the EIRP.(dBW) value for the area if you are in the footprint, then use the below to find out what size dish you will need. Hopefully someone from there will let us know what to expect with a legal FTA setup. If not hopefully you can let us know how you get on.

Pete: look at the amc1 which is 103. degrees west. however the conus footprint does not reach the particular are in Coalcoman, Mexico, which is in the state of Michocan. now this puzzles me, for instant if you want to install a motor, and since amc1 does not cover that footprint, then which satellite would you use for your true south, anyone have any ideas?
