Going to direct tv

How long will it take to get direct tv installed. Are they booked up or just a few days

They deal with local or area sub-contractors, they do not do the install themselves, so it can be very area dependent. Of the 10 or so that I have helped arrange for/with friends and family they have usually been within 5 - 10 days; the later being at the request of the user.

He's right. It depends on the installer and where you live. Unless you're in a really major city I would think within 5 or 6 days would be about right. Sometimes you just luck out. A neighbor of mine called for an installation and they ask him if he'd mind if they came out the next morning. He was up and running in less than 24 hours. Of course, that doesn't happen to everyone.
