going on vacation.... can I use an old 18" Dave dish to pull in 61.5?

I'll be heading to Maine in a month and was wondering if I could use an old 18" Dave dish to pull in 61.5? I coudl go with my 1000.4 dish, but I'm not sure I'll be able to pull in the other birds considering all the trees. I'm going to have to find a hole just to pull in 61.5 (which has about 85% of Turbo gold, and good enough for me).

I mostly want it for the Red Sox. I assume I'll still be able to pull in NESN that far north (about 2.5 deg due north of where I am right now).

If I can use the old dish, will I need to do some sort of checkswitch during setup?

To me vacation means relaxing and doing the things I enjoy.... like my Red Sox. But other than the Sox, I won't be watching much tv or surfing.

You won't get the extended guide though on the DVR. I think you'll get only 48 hours of guide data.
