Recently I purchased STAB HH100 motor along with Globecast System with SE830-T0N7-S, I would like to utilize it to receive Globecast programming as well as FTA programming from various satellites (which I believe is perfectly legal). According to the manual and spec sheets (from Eastern Electronics www.eec.com.tw) SE830 is well capable of utilizing DiSeqC 1.2 protocol to control dish motors. I think the unit I have has the function disable (possibly by Globecast people) in the software. Furhtermore, I found that the remote control on Eastern Electronics web site differes from that supplied by Globecast, perhaps all I need is the original remote which will have 'Position' functions on it. Please let me know if anyone had any luck using Globecast receiver with a motor and if it is even possible to enable DiSeqC 1.2 function (and how?) with current software, or if there is a software upgrade to download. I found a hidden manu which allowed me to reset the motor position to 0' which tells me that the hardware is capable of handeling DiSeqC. Your quick response will be greatly appreciated.

Here are some usefull links to the product I'm refering to:
