Well, I have done it. I have now exceeded the available inputs on my TV. I either need to share an HDMI or compponent connection. I know I can get a switch and that may be the way to go but I was wondering if I could just split a component conection with Y adapters and get the job done. The two devices would not be on at the same time of course. What does anyone think, is this feasible?

Cables

A Y-adapter only gives you 2 cables anyway. You can get quality switches and cables at great prices at Monoprice.com.

My thought was to use a Y adapter on each component connection to allow two sources to be connected but only one on at a time. I know about monoprice as I got my HDMI cable from them. I'll check out what they have to offer as well.

Bose?

onkyo subwoofer
