Gateway System & two Total Home Portals

Do any one know if shaw satellite receiver from canada need only one cable or two to record two show[h=2]Gateway System & two Total Home Portals[/h]

The 630 PVR needs two cables to record two shows at once. Just to add to that the receiver does not work well with only one cable connected as it swaps tuners everytime you change the channel.

Make sure you are talking about ShawDirect gear, and not Shaw Cable gear.

"Gateway System" and "Total Home Portals" refers to Shaw Cable equipment which does not work on Shaw Direct satellite.
