Why is it these game have to last sooooooo da*n long.
Tionights game is at the end of the 3rd and it's after 11 on the east coast.
This is rediculous. I have not beenwatching it too closely, but it's tied 10-10.
What does that say about Louisville ?

I think the halftime show was probably 40 minutes long again.

Like I've said before, the NFL is over by 11:30 most nights

I record everything to save viewing time but then i'm lost when hanging around the water cooler at work. Watching BSU end right now. Looking for statue of liberty play.

I haven't watched much college football this season. Watching tonight, and watched my Nittany Lions yesterday in the Outback Bowl - go JoePa!, the thing that strikes me is the official review (instant replay). This reminds me of when the instant replay rule was first implemented in NFL, delaying the game with every close call. I prefer the current NFL rule with the coach's challenge (at the risk of losing a time out) and the official review only within the last 2 minutes of the half.

By the way Jimbo, I'm rooting Big 10 for the Championship Game, so Go Buckeye's!

Statue of Liberty is the Last play of the game, hope I didn't ruin it for you.

btw, how can you manage to NOT see highlights before watching the game.

This was a great game.

I have to say, you have missed some damn good games so far.

I read about that play this morning. I never watch live to save time so I usually know outcome but I enjoy seeing how they won, not just who won. I dvr every college and pro game broadcast in HD. All 4 are stuffed full right now!

yep.. it's the long halftime shows.. I wouldn't mind more of the games starting at 7 or 7:30 ET than 8:30, but then again, that would screw the west coast 9-5 workers.

I have to agree that these games go on way too long. It is because of the stupid reviews every other play. They take forever to review these plays when the refs don't even look at the plays. They take the word of the people in the booth. Shouldn't be as simple as the guy on the other end of the headphones saying the play stands or reverse the call?

NO the replays I can live with.
It's the halftimes that take up an addl. 40 minutes.
Most halftimes are 15-20 minutes, these have been going about 40-45
If both bands play, why do we have to have a Musical guest too ?
And fireworks, so the cameras are messed up for the third quarter.

the sugar bowl halftime show was only 20 minutes.. thankfully.. surprised me because I expected it to be 40 minutes and I was doing something else and they started on me... cant win even if I plan it lol
