[TVRO] Sea-Launch / Galaxy 16 Upcoming Launch Coverage Sat (6-17) @3:35AM ET. On Galaxy 11 12071 H DVB SR: 13021
This upcoming Saturday morning (6-17), Sea Launch is schduled to launch
Galaxy 16 communications satellite for PanAmSat Corporation on a
Zenit-3SL rocket from the Odyssey Launch Platform positioned on the
equator in the Pacific Ocean.
Launch window opens at 3:50 a.m. EDT. with a 2 hour window to 5:50 a.m. EDT.
Spacecraft separation around 1 hour after lift off above the Democratic
Republic of the Congo in Africa.
Galaxy 16, built by Space Systems Loral is a 1300-series spacecraft with
24 C-band and 24 Ku-band transponders. Galaxy 16 will be the replacement
satellite for Galaxy 4R at 99 degrees west.

Galaxy 11 @ 91 degrees West, transponder 19 Ku band (12071 MHz
Horizontal) DVB 4:2:0, SR: 13.021
Test signals start at 3 a.m. EDT.
Broadcast starts at 3:35 a.m. EDT.
