GALAXY 5 TO GALAXY 12 TRANSITION INFORMATION
Wilton, CT, December 20, 2004 -- On the morning of January 10, 2005
PanAmSat will transition customers from Galaxy 5 to Galaxy 12. The
transfer window will begin at 0300ET (3AM ET) and end at approximately
0600 ET (6 AM ET).
After more than 12 years of un-interrupted service, Galaxy 5 will pass
the torch as the number one cable neighborhood to Galaxy 12. Galaxy 12
will provide unrivaled power and redundancy to support our clients
through the next decade.
While PanAmSat does not anticipate any service interruptions during this
transition, please contact the specific programmer if there are any
