G-16 @ 99W Ku/band issues

I just got G-16 at 99W Ku-band, cbs newspath good, but AAFES & AGHAPY (Q=95%) are black screen...thats correct? scrambled channels?

TV english & tv latino enter with Q80 (this channels from 101W, he,he)

Looks to be correct. I just scanned it a few moments ago, and indeed that is what I saw.

Yes...thank you... And 99W brings other two audio channels 3ABN radio and Radio 74

Checked these out and they don't appear to be encrypted. I am getting a 90-92% quality reading from the carrier signal, but it states NO AUDIO/VIDEO.

Those channels are now on 97W

story time......those 2 channels were on 93 for a long time. Then 93 (G26 at the time) had satellite failure so most everything "abandoned ship" and moved to other satellites. These 2 moved to G16 temporarily.

Then they moved over to 97W (G25 at the time now G19) and hopped on a shared transponder to (assume) save money. Probably same reason why Doc Scott did too

As to why its still lit up on G16 I have no idea.

probably not. Knowing them they PAID dish to become a public interest channel
