I am on a yacht and we have a SeaTEL 4004 system. Currently we are in St Maarten and I need some FTA english channels, preferably news. I have a 10.5Ghz LO Circular LNB fitted but I cannot find anything. Can someone please help? I have tried Lyngsat and numerous satellites. Do I need to change my LNB?

I assume you also have a DVB-capable FTA receiver, in addition to a DirecTV receiver?
At least in this part of the world, DirecTV is not compatible with DVB receivers.
Here are three satellite lists, which may be of some help:
- FTA List is simple and lists by language
- our own The List is more comprehensive, but may be more technical than you need
- Global CM has several lists for this side of the world.
And as Iceberg said, the LNBs we use are 10.70 linear Standard models.

If you have MPEG4 DVB equipment you could scan 77W on circular before doing the LNB swap. I don't know if the footprint reaches you, but with a 40" dish you might pick it up. A linear LNB is going to be needed for 72/93/97 if you're in the footprint.
