Hi all. I have got a Pansat 2500A, Standard Ku LNB, 30" Winegard Dish and a SG2100 Motor! I am trying to setup all these but getting no signals. What is the first thing I need to do to setup all these? Can you please let me know step by step the process of setup. For your convenience my zipcode is 63129. Thanks

Hey Peter Thanks for replying... That setup doc seems to be helpful. However, I still haven't set up the Motor yet. I put up my Dish and the lnbf on a pole and hoked it up with my receiver to see if they work. I would like to get a bit more information on how to set the dish up without the motor today and if all worked then do the motor thing tomorrow. Do you have any advice?

I would use the above angles and set up for your true south satellite your true south is the same as your latitude 90 deg W (or as close as you can to it). You will need a compass then enter the below transponder/channel and watch for quality level on your TV screen, SLOWLY moving the dish from east to west, once you see any quality peak the signal as much as you can then do a blind scan, leave your LNB straight up and down for now but it may be moved closer or further away from the dish during the peaking of quality.

Galaxy 11 91 deg W

Primedia

12060 MHz
V
26700 S/R

LNBF L.O. = 10750

GOOD LUCK

PSB, Can't thank you enough....now watching Primedia at 75% signal Strength...sweet... Now I have to setup the motor...Maybe tomorrow morning. Do you have any advice on that?

Glad to help sandlord. Other than reading the "Easy set up" document and the SG2100 manual it should be easy.

Set Motor angle at...... 52 deg.
Set dish angle at.......24 deg.

You know where to point now, just refind G 11 and you are done! There may be some slight tweaking to be done but I would not go there right now.

PSB,
Sorry to reply late but I am watching my FREE TV Now that the motor is all set up... Thanks for all your help. Man this is awesome. I do have a question though. In lyngsat website http://www.lyngsat.com/freetv/United-States.html , it says that we can watch Fox Movie Channel in US on Galaxy 11, but why can't I get it? I have a Pansat 2500A and it says its a DVB on the front.

Oh!..seems like a 6 footer or more...and a C/Ku LNBF perhaps....:(... I guess I have to stick with the Ku signals for now. You are alright PSB. Thanks
