Unfortuantely, Costa Rica is not well served by most of the popular North American KU-Band satellites. Most C-Band signals do provide very good coverage and there will be many KU-Band signals available as well.

- 2.4M - 3M (7 -10ft) Polar Mount dish
- C/KU LNBF
- 36" - 36vdc jack type motor
- DVB/MPEG II receiver
- DiSEqC Switch (combines the two LNBF outputs into one coax to the receiver)
- V-Box II (converts the DiSEqC motor commands generated by the DVB receiver to control the 36vdc jack motor)
- Installation Kit

Don't know your situation , if your retiring in Costa Rica or Working out there, but if language is not a problem I believe you can get Direct TV Latin America , then again I haven't seen the channel lineup and I don't know what U.S. programming is available.
We were there in December and you can get most English speaking channels, including movies, sports and Prime time shows on DirectTV or Cable!
