FSN-O is only in part-time HD on DirecTV. The Cleveland version (660) will only be on the -1 HD with the Cavs, and the Cincinnati version (661) only for the Reds and Blue Jackets.
DirecTV needs to take FSN-O full time with the Columbus feed, which has all three teams, with appropriate black outs and using 661 part time when two teams play at the same time.
Thank You Samcdbs. I`ve wondered what the folks in Columbus were getting. Both FSN-Ohio & FSN-Cinci (Reds blackout) feeds are what U-Verse subscribers receive here. (Kent-Akron). According to DTV`s web site, my zip code, 44224, should be receiving FSN-Ohio, STO, & FSN Pittsburgh. We don`t get Pittsburgh, but we don`t get FSN-Cinci either.
You are incorrect.
Columbus Area TV Listings for the week of August 30-September 5
The Cleveland feed, which DirecTV carries on 660 carries the Cavs and Blue Jackets, and used to carry the Indians.
The Cincinnati feed, which DirecTV carries on 661 carries the Reds and Blue Jackets.
The Columbus feed, which is what DirecTV should carry, carries the Reds, Blue Jackets and Cavs (and used to carry the Indians). On cable, in the Columbus zone, if two teams are playing at once, one of the teams, generally the Blue Jackets, are spooled up on the "community interest/public access" channel.
All DirecTV needs to do is drop both the Cincy and Cleveland feeds, and put the Columbus feed on in full time HD on 660, the system will black out the Reds and Cavs in the appropriate places. Then use 661 (and 661-1) as an RSNa, putting the Blue Jackets there when the main feed is carrying another game. Same as cable.

The only time I got FSN Pittsburgh at all was when I bought the SportsPak. Then I received the Penguins games, but no Pirates (black out, but who cares, I already suffer with the Indians), and I would also get Blue Jackets games on FSN Cinci when the Cavs are on FSN Ohio.
