This radio covers longwave, mediumwave, shortwave, and FM. BFO for SSB and CW tuning. Rotary knob tuning in two step sizes, direct frequency entry, and programmable memories. Requires 3 AAA and 4 D batteries, or a 6V, 400mA, barrel center negative AC adapter (the pictured adapter is NOT included.)

PLEASE READ the following two paragraphs carefully:

I believe this radio to be in normal working condition. There is a small amount of corrosion on one of the battery terminals, but it was working the last time I had batteries installed.

I had sold this radio on another site last year and received a complaint that when the buyer connected it to a 50-foot outdoor antenna, he received interference from an AM station 10 miles away on the shortwave band. I've never connected it to such a large antenna, nor do I have such a local AM station, so I can't verify that, BUT, I don't think that that's necessarily abnormal performance for a Chinese-mass-produced portable radio. I can even provide references to two shortwave forums where many users have reported such interference issues under such conditions with this exact model, but the previous buyer stubbornly refused to consider it and was adamant that my radio was broken. So, to keep peace, I refunded his money. I do honestly believe that this particular unit is in good working order. I would never sell questionable merchandise without full disclosure of any potential flaws. Having said that, I will also say that this sale will be final, no refunds.

I don't have the manual; the previous buyer never returned it. I can provide a link to an online copy. (This model is identical to the Sangean ATS-818.)

I'm asking for $50 via PayPal. I'll pay for shipping, but I'll ship to the lower 48 states only.
