With my recent purchase of a pansat 9200 and the future divx functionality of the PS3, I no longer have a place for my Trio. So I am trying to sell it here before I send it off to ebay. I've only had it a few months and it's really a unique FTA box. It actually gets useful and frequent firmware updates and tech support is very responsive. I just couldn't sit back any longer and keep missing the HD hockey out there right now.
Unit is a True PVR with tivo like buffering to user-attached external USB HD.
Features multiple video format playback over the Dedicated divx port (attach flash drive or a HD) and upconverts to 1080i for files played back over this port.
Motor control and real blindscan. Both work top notch, very similar blind scan options as the Fortec Merc II
Total of 3 usb ports, 1 in back (where I keep a HD hooked up) 2 in front, one for file/channel and one time HD attachment or flashdrive. Second usb port on front is dedicated Divx port.
