I have 4 used actuators I want to sell.
The 2 big heavy duty ones I got from the installer in KC and they were in boxes in pieces. Tubes in one box, motors in another, and hardware in another. I put the motors together with the tubes and checked them to make sure they work. I lubed them as best i could, but they may need more, I just don't know how to do it.
The inner tubes are not rusted, and are actually shinier than the outer tubes look.
Also the big heavy ones, say Saginaw Steering Gear on the ends, but HTS Sensor Actuator on the motors, so I don't know what they are. The KC installer said they were Thompson Saginaw. I just don't know, but they are heavy duty 18 inch actuators whatever brand they may be. See pics. I put new pig-tails on all of them.
These do not have limit switches on them, but will not come out the end. They just stop in a bind when you reach either end.
Actual travel is 18 Inches on these two.

The next one is new/used SuperJack II+ HQ 18 Inch actuator, but has been on the dish for 3 years though never used. It was bought new by a friend of mine and he could never get it wired up to work, and it was never used. If you remember I mentioned about my first job as an installer. This is part of what I got in the trade deal I made with him.
Actual travel is 16 Inches on this one.

All were tested with my GBox V300 test/spare positioner so I would know whether they work with modern dish moving equipment. The reason I put actual travel on each of the actuators, is because I measured the actual travel on the 10 foot Unimesh dish I had up at one time, and from 43W to 129W, the travel was only 13 Inches.
All worked and sounded fine to my ear with no strain anywhere along the travel. EDIT: There is no slop in any of the above actuators.
