Frontpage issue

This morning we had a strange problem with our SatelliteGuys homepage. The problem caused the Internet Explorer Web Browser to Crash.

When we noticed the problem we immediately took the homepage offline to troubleshoot. The problem was vBulletin malformed some HTML which was in our news section on the homepage.

We removed and readded the news article in question and the problem went away. We appologize to any of you who may have had a browser crash because of this software error.

Is that the new IE or an older version? I haven't upgrade mine yet...

It was happening on IE6 and IE7 Beta.

What was strange that the message in question, I copied it to my clipboard, edited the message to delete everything then save it, then edited it again and pasted what I had in there before and saved it again, and everything was well again.

Strange error, at least I caught it fast.

This is why I use Firefox.

I only HAVE to use IE for work.

firefox has been crash-happy for a while now too, it's gone straight downhill unfortunetely...

Not on this site, just in general...
