Not sure if this is the right place to post a wanted feature, but here goes...
Does anybody else think it would be a nice feature to be a able to freeze a timer, without deleting? I have a LOT of timers and when I get busy, I get really behind on my recorded shows. It would be great to have the option to freeze some of my timers, so those shows wouldn't record additional episodes (and I don't want to set an episode cap and delete older shows). Deleting the timers would just create a big hassle when I wanted to start them up again (and I wouldn't remember the priority.) There are other reasons I want to freeze timers..such as during an off-season of a show I may freeze a timer due to the DVRs seeming inability to tell that 10-17-05 isn't a new show, among other reasons.
Maybe some of the dish installers on these forums can bring it up during one of the meetings they have. (I have no idea how any of that works so forgive me).
Or if anyone knows of the official way to submit suggestions that probably wont get read anyway
