How come my FOX eastcoast HD feed is always pixilated and has an audio hiccup? I dont see this on any of my other HD distant networks or HD channels. I'm using the old Samsung ts360 hd reciever.

I don't see any problems with the video but I have noticed that the audio has some issues. When I have my DD5.1 system, it looks like it has troble keeping it in 5.1 and drops back to 2.0 or PCM (can't catch the display in time to see what it says is happening).

Your answer may well be in your last sentence.

Yeah i mentioned the ts 360 becuase I wondered if it could be the problem, although it would seem I would see it on more than one channel. I have the protection plan, do you think I would get a different kind of reciever if I took advantage of this plan?

No doubt that you would. D* uses their own branded receivers now.

just an update

Well I had my old samsung reciever replaced. They sent me an H-20, and also came out and installed a new slimline 5 lnb dish for free. I've now got the Memphis HD locals so maybe it wont have the audio stutter that the national feed had. Fingers crossed. I'm still getting used to the H20, a little slower than the samsung, but seems ok, and it seems I'm set for the future in the reciever and dish department!

I was having problems with my ABC local on the HR10-250 and they told me they would swap it but they don't use TIVO anymore so I would be getting an HR20. The next day an HR10-250 arrived and was no good. (would not record) So the next day I get another Hr10 250.

I now have 2 sitting here seeing as they said they don't want them back. But I am checking my account to make sure I don't get charged.

If your brief pixelization on that channel it possible issue with that feed. Because if your signal is above 70, then you should not be having the issue. If it keeps happening I would possibly get in contact with tech support and report that you are having that issue. On my I do see some brief pixelization on the East HD FOX feed... I don't think that it would be the samsung receiver is the issue, I watch the Super Bowl this year on same type or receiver and the picture was great.
