This is the newer version of the meter that is metal, has the replaceable rechargable battery and also the disceq option so you can choose Dish Pro switch ports/lnbs as well. I will throw in free USPS priority shipping for buyers in the continental US.
Will this work for FTA dishes or only Dish/Direct LNB's?

It works for great for both FTA and Dish/Directv. I bought it used here locally on Craigslist so I'm not sure how new the battery is. I've only used it for a few minutes to make sure my FTA dish was peaked/tweaked and I used the internal battery. I paid $85 for it a couple of months ago.

A lot of questions about the battery. I bought it used but it seems to hold a charge. I used it recently to tweak my GeoSat Pro dish.
I'll look into putting a brand new battery in it. If I do, I will probably have to raise the price a few bucks to cover that though.

I have this exact model. I use it to tune in DTV, DISH, FTA C band, etc. Works great. I don't think the battery thing would be a big issue.
You can use the power from the receiver to power the meter. So even if the battery isn't 100% it wouldn't be a major issue. I've had mine for a couple of years and it still works good.

I can vouch for this meter's quality and performance. The price DJ is asking is very reasonable. The battery should be fine as the meter looks like Brand NEW. This meter will be sold fast.
