Did they recently change the font on the 722k?

It just looks different. Like a more monospaced blah font rather than what was there. I've been doing a lot of reading and font work, so I don't know if it's me, or something changed.

Thanks,

Is that for closed caption (Menu+8+7+2) to change size and serif/non fixed/proportional, others for color, etc.
The Info screens are the same or what they are although the title may have been bolded a while back.

I noticed posted a font change in the EPG with L670 on the 722. Makes it harder to read the titles.

But many replies said they liked it. The DISH GUI is a mess. More so now. Except for what I have seen of the 922.

Eh, either I'm blind, have no photographic memory, or something, but it looks the same to me. No problems reading anything... So I guess that rules out blindness... GUI looks the same to me, maybe more button presses required to do certain things compared to other GUI's, however the only thing that really looks bad to me is the DISH On Demand screen... I personally like all the options I'm given...

The update that provided the new DVR menu and reorganization of VOD by Channel name was when the new font was also installed. So, yes, this was a change for both the 722 and the K. However, that was quite a while ago. IMHO, the new font is easier to read, at least on HDTV's. The old font was to thick and seem fuzzy. Others in my family noticed the new font, as well, and said it was a change for the better.

I like it what ever it is. I can read everything really well on the 722k . I thought going from the hd menus and guides of the 922 back to a 722k I would see a downgrade of appearance ,but I don't see any. Looks great.
