I'm looking for a suggestion on an indoor FM antenna to go with my new Yamaha HTIB setup. Up to now I have just used the old FM dipole, with fair results. I have looked at the following alternatives:

1. Anything outside - avoiding if at all possible.
2. Anything from Terk - no.
3. Good old rabbit ears - will not pass WAF.
3. Magnum Dynalab "Razor" - see above.
4. Magnum Dynalab ST-2 or Fanfare vertical whips - can hide easily, but $100 for an FM antenna!?!
5. Crane FM antenna - $30 for a glorified dipole, not sure it is worth it.

Note that I'd love to get the Philly stations from 60 miles away, but I'd be content to get a decent signal on the local stations. Any suggestions welcome.

Do you have CATV? If so, what FM channels are on there? Might include your Philly channels...
I tried this a long time ago, and I don't think that any FM was included. After all, Comcast wants to push their Music Choice channels.

Perhaps mounting an omni-directional in the attic is an option ... just route the line outside of the house to the family room.
