Well I dont know what to think of this. I mean I love watching FLA Spread offense play. Charlie and Muschamp seem to want to bring FLA more to a "pro style" offense. Which is not fun at all! I think gator fans need to unite to save the spread!!

We do so well in OOC games because of our 'different' offense style. Now if we just be like everyone else well itll be easier to defend against.

Time will tell . . . I think this would be a great move because as a ND fan, we brought in Weiss to rebuild and recruit. Unfortunately what ND didn't understand are that student athletes today look for exposure, money, and most importantly, television time. Therefore, Weiss at an SEC school like Florida will allow the team to recruit the best of the best knowing they havea pipeline to the NFL with Weiss!

Well Alabama and LSU are also still strong. Arkansas is holding its own and With Dan Mullen who knows what will happen with his program. They had a good year.

I think it will only hurt Florida, let the SCarolina and Auburn Reign begin.

Auburn? After this season with Cam gone, they will be back to mid pack. They lose far to much (or could lose far to much) to duplicate this seasons success.

If it does happen, I think it's a great move for Florida.... it will also save Brantley's (think that is his name, qb) career there as he can play out of a Pro style offense instead of transferring to another school.

Absolutely! Most kids that think they have a chance for the next level are gonna thrive on it and I think it will help them recruit even MORE.

ND fame? I think he would prefer to be known for the 'offensive mastermind' that led Bill Belichick to his only 3 Super Bowl wins ;)

All their offensive lineman are gone, also. Plus they lose Fairley and Bines on defense. They will be in the same situation that Florida was in this year, losing that much talent will lead to a mediocre season.

As a Gators and Patriots fan, going to be strange watching the same offensive strategy Saturdays and Sundays.

AINESVILLE, Fla. -- Kansas City Chiefs coach Todd Haley has confirmed that Charlie Weis is leaving to become offensive coordinator at Florida.

Weis has been offensive coordinator for the Chiefs for one year and is credited with helping turn Matt Cassel into a top quarterback and making Jamaal Charles a Pro Bowl running back.

Well its official a new era will begin at Florida. Bye spread speed offense you were so fun to watch I will miss you.,
