I installed a $15 flexblock to my 1m motorized dish. Looks like there is a 4 degree separation cuz I can pick up Echo 119 and Galaxy 10R at the same location. Very nice to switch back and forth. The Tube is a fabulous music channel, much better than MTV. Yesterday I saw an old "Who" video. Sure brings back memories of the first days of music videos.
My setup consists of this:
1 Meter dish on SG2100 motor
Flex Block with FTA lnb and Dish Legacy LNB
Discqec switch between lnbs and motor
Dish lnb on switch 1 and FTA lnb on switch 2
Fortec Ultra connected to switch for FTA and Dish FTA channels (Nasa, etc)
Dish DP301 connected via Fortec pass-through (shows as unknown switch but works) for subscribed channels.
Signal strength on G10R for Tube channel- 77% signal, 58-60% quality
Research Ch - 80% signal, 89-90% quality
My location is Jacksonville Florida.
