The wildfire is almost out. Satellite TV is working properly again - we can see across the property - actually mountains to mountains. We are breathing some what fresh air (SoCal area, yes there are areas you have to have faith to breath - you can not see the air ! ) I am sure there was not much satellite feed coverage of the fire - if any. It was slightly under 24,000 acres. And US 97 is again open for traffic to the North - with pilot car, however!
I expect the deer will go back to hiding in the woods, instead of under the trailer and behind the shed - and will stop eating the cat food. They got about a 16 # bag of AttaCat a day. But they did seem to look for us to say Thank You!
