favorites not remembering channels

Instead of using my channels or my hd channels I make my own favorites. The trouble with hopper is once again it is not remembering channel numbers. in fact it will not remember channel 5 which in utah what is nbc so no olympic showing up in my favorites. I have tried resetting the box taking out other numbers put them back in this time is channel 5 other times it's been others. my 722 k never ever had this problem. 1 more question why are the commercials showing up for about 10 seconds or so on auto hop ?

This is a fairly common problem with Hoppers. The trick is to add 2 or more channels at the same time. I have found that a "magic number" of local and other channels is stable. Right now I have 152, 10 local, and that holds pretty good.
