We received programs from 97 W for quite a few years - without any problems. Last spring we noticed occasional pixellations and audio problems.
I checked the Info on my receiver - signal Q was close to 40% only. It used to be much better, around 60. What happened?
I went out to see the dish - it was solid like rock. But, when I eyeballed the LNBF holding bar - I noticed branches of trees obscuring the view...
When the wind was moving the branches, the pixellation intensified.
After few days I was able to cut down the offending trees - not very thick yet, only about 2" - to 2-1/2 " but growing fast... My neighbour was very kind
to co-operate with cutting third tree on his property, behind the fence.
