I just got an RCA DirecTV DVR80 this afternoon and I've been enjoying it. (as best I can with only one sat input at the moment!) Anywho, when I have it connect to update the software, it spends about an hour online and then disconnects with the following error:
"Failed while loading series"
I'm not sure what's going on here as I've tried it like 4 times this afternoon with the same result. I even power cycled it and tried it again with no luck. Any ideas on this? I will point out I have DSL on this line, however, I do have a DSL filter on the line that goes into the DVR. The phone test works just fine, so something is going wrong on the download part. Is this something normal with a new DVR or do I have something wrong with it? Thanks!
