Does anyone know if the new 3.4-3.7 GHz is in use? How it's used? If any FTA is available there? Where it's available?

Inquiring minds.....

Thanks,
B

3400 to 3700 have been in use for a number of years.
Other satellites in our region include 40.5 NSS-806
and PAS-9 at 58 West.

Best regards,

Mike

The Extended Freqs are authorized by Countries with specific Landing Rights. Those locations do not allow Internationl birds "in" unless you comply with the coordination...

No, that was the case with P5 Extended and the same case with P9 Extended for the Mexico beam....Really nothing funny about it...Changes the design and payload application when building Satellites with extra cost...Satellite Operators have Regulatory Departments working in DC with other Internation Countries to create agreements for Internation Beam distribution. Take Australia for example, one must get authorization from Optus for landing rights into the Country that will compete with the existing consortium. Intelsat back in the days made agreements with Countries for this Landing rights purpose. Comsat was their US based consortium. It all would depend on the acceptance Country and its Regulatory Laws...
