When my Directv service was installed in Jan, they put the Dish on a pole outside (my request) and then ran the cable down and buried it along the house until they hit the spot where they brought it inside. Due to the hard ground here, and I think the lack of depth, rain has uncovered several feet of the black cable. There is no risk of it being damaged, just wondering how the sun and elements take to it? I have the Prot Plan, so it's a simple phone call, just wondering if it's a real concern.

Cool. Its not in a spot of lawnmower or weedeater concern, so I was gonna leave it be. It'll prob get worse, then Ill call em. Ground is like concrete, so Im sure the guy didnt wanna dig too deep LOL

I actually think the cable is from the previous years Dish Network install, and the Directv guy just used it.
