I just installed a DirecTV receiver connected to a round, "Satellite A" (101 lat) community antenna for a resident who wants EWTN, but didn't test for it, since the Dallas Green Bay game was underway and a higher priority. I just got an e-mail from him this morning saying that when he tried to watch it on channel 422 just after 3:00 AM, he got a "no signal" indication.
This November 19, 2006 post said EWTN was on channel 422, 101 degree, transponder 14, and his transponder 14 had a signal strength of well over 90% when I ran the transponder test

This, newer November 11, 2007 table, however, says that EWTN is on channel 370

but that channel is called Shop NBS (SNBC) in most DirecTV channel guides. In any case, channel 370 was also found on the 101 satellite on transponder 15 in the Nov 19, 2006 transponder map posted above. In the November 11, 207 transponder map, SNBC is on channel 316, transponder 15.
Can anyone confirm that EWTN is still being broadcast from 101, or if not, can anyone refer me to a page on DirecTV's website where they might say that a 119 dish is needed to receive it?
