LOL. I was disappointed too. You have to right click to get some weird looking menu. I'm just running ClassicShell on Win8, works for me.

tried all day and couldn't get it to install wouldn't download completey

I got mine installed, but one funny thing, when you hit the window key and E to bring up file explorer it will not bring it up at all. and if you click the folder at the bottom on the desktop it does nothing. that is annoying, I was finally able to bring it up by right clicking and checking on what folder I wanted.

Other than that it seemed to be okay for the hour that I used it.

Downloaded it yesterday, but have not had a chance to really get into it. I knew the start button was only partially back, but it makes zero difference to me as I use Start8 anyway.

I had the Win8 Preview on my computer and the release just would not show up in the store at all. Did a bit of googling and got a whizbang way of getting it.

Upgrade went fine, wiped out all my apps as I knew it would, kept all the data except for the signin or authentication stuff. Overall it was just as easy as pie and took as long as making one from scratch!
