625 locked up, error "Event Stopped by STB reboot" - What's that mean?
I have a Dish 625. I was watching a recorded event and had it paused for about 30 minutes (kid needed to be fed!). About the same time a timer kicked off to record a show, the 625 looked like it just rebooted itself. When it came back up, it began recording the show. I looked at the past events, and the show appears twice--the first one it says "Event stopped by STB reboot". The second one is 27 minutes of the 30-minute show.
I had a different problem about a week ago when I was watching a recorded show, and a timer was set to kick off. The box froze solid, and I had to do a soft reboot. When it came back up, about 10 of my 30 or so timers were gone, and the guide data only went until the next day. I left it alone for a couple hours, and the guide corrected itself, but the timers never returned. I had to set them up again.
The 625 is about 3 weeks old. Are these common problems, or do I have a bad box?
Thanks!
