Finally got around to zeroing in on these birds with the BUD and found TV Japan and Telepace on C band DVB, found nothing on Ku FTA. Are these birds worth keeping programed into the 922 to scan for FTA sporting events?

The KU band is Dish Network. So other than the "you have a Superidsh at 121" screen, there isnt much on KU

I'd keep it for the C-band portion

once in a while tv japan has english on the secondary audio, or english subtitles, ive seen a couple of cool shows on there.

IA-13 is what the 922 is calling T7. When IA-7 when wacky, most of the content was moved to IA-13. The T7 satellite icon was remapped to work at IA-13. So, I think you should keep it for that reason alone.

Thanks, that cleared up a lot of things. I moved the T7 icon back to where it was in the beginning, and moved another one in to the 121 slot, but could not pick up any digitals. So I swapped them back. What icon do you use for ES9/H13? Is there any reason to put a Ku icon at T7? Before it went wacky there was an L7 icon I was using for Ku. I was getting University of Alaska hockey games on it. After it crapped out, the genius' at Motorola told me that the L7 would come back, but I have never seen it. They have also told me that there is no Ku side at the 121 site of the T7 icon. LyngSat shows a Ku side. There is a way to get the icons back if you loose one, but I can't remember. I think you could go to G1, 150, power down for a few seconds then power up and wait 15 minutes and the icon would show back up. I lost the F1 icon and I think that's how I got it back. Do you know?
