Error code 4??? Hopper 3

Has anyone seen this before? Any concern? I've had this H3 since release, is it starting to go bad?

I have seen this before. It looks like the Hopper split your recording into a couple of segments, with the first segment maybe only being a ridiculously short number of seconds in length, maybe even less than one second. (The time in the description is listed as 8:17 - 8:17p.) When I have seen segments like this, they are generally too short to actually play, or only yield a black screen if they do play. This may be due to signal loss or some other error that occurred when the Hopper first tuned to the channel to start recording. Does the other segment directly above the highlighted one actually play? If so, just delete the one with the Error, since it won't play anyway.

The other one played, but kept saying part of the recoding was lost. However, it only played for about 10 min and then just stopped.

That definitely sounds like you had signal loss. Were there any severe storms and/or heavy rain in your area last night?

No storms during the recording time.
