I have a slimline swm 354nr setup at home. I have a duplicate setup at camp. Do I need a power inserter to run 1 tv at camp.

If you have an SWM dish, you need a power inserter. Even for just one receiver.

texasbrit is correct, you need the power inserter at each location. You could damage your equipment without it.
