Hi everybody,

:hatsoff:

I am looking for some documentation for eMTech 200CI FTA receiver.

I know that eMTech 200CI is more popular in Europe and Australia but I bought one in Canada 2 years ago and I have no documentation-guides-info for it.

Is it posible to download Pansat's (or other brand more popular in North-America) software on it?

Maybe somebody can help me to find some more info for it?
A site, a forum, an address, etc, etc.

Thanks.

just googled and really didnt see anything about it.

There was one post about 16 satellites max which makes it sound like my KUSat (16 satellite max)....is it possible to hook it up and take some screenshots?

I was able to use babelfish and translate the website above for most of it

Unfortunatelly the manual is a PDF in Italian :(

The correct model is eMTech 200NA and here are some pics attached.
There is a card reader and 2 CI slots

Thanks.

Yes, it's working just fine for FTA (T5-Globecast) since almost 2 years ago.

What I want is to upgrade it or maybe to install a different software (Pansat, Viewsonic, Coolsat, etc - something more popular here in North America) and take advantage of all the features this receiver has.

Not to much luck until now.

is it possible to get a couple screenshots of the menu options

Reason I ask is if we can see them, maybe we can find a better alternative
(the 16 sat limit makes it sounds like you could load digiwave software into it)

Thanks for the photos…The screen doesn’t look like a Digiwave : (

By looking at the menu screen shots, it doesn’t look like you can do a blind scan on the menu.

I haven’t tried uploading software that isn’t the units (or a clone like my KUSat 2600 is…it takes Digiwave software) so I don’t want to say “try it” only to have your unit freeze up.
