According to an on screen notice at 9:45am EST, Feb 9, 2005, Empire Sports Network will cease FTA transmission as of March 7, 2005.

Adelphia pulled the plug about a month ago. Dish already nuked it and Direct will soon follow.
Dish has Fox Sports Pittsburgh 2 in its place.
really sad...I liked the network. Now all theyre showing is old shows that were on Empire (I think there are some b-ball games that they have commited to show)
