Looks like it should arrive at 77W this weekend. So, one might see new activity at 77w by midweek.

The FCC has not yet approved operation of E-6 at 77 W just approved the move. I wonder if the FCC will wait until Dish provides a plan for testing E-8. Still think Dish will request to test it at 86.5 W where they want to move E-8 anyway.

Looks like all approvals have been received so they can go into service when they are ready.

Beam pattern is similar to Echostar 8 (a little stronger on the northern side) so don't expect to see any big changes in reception.
